One thing about the WIP for 600,000 Volts: Several of my lines seem to start a bit too early for the music. I know I have a tendency to overrun a little, but in my opinion it sounds much more naturally timed for me to start perfectly in time and maybe end up a bit late at the end, rather than starting early and ending exactly on time.

Matt, I disagree that it was sidestep, I think it was more of a step forward, not a big, but also not a small one. My only issues are at the begining, now keep in mind that I perfer the demo, is some notes I would like longer(like in the demo) but I don't want you to take this seriously. my other issue is when you say "Justice" You sound angry like "This is not justice  ". Another thing, I don't know who to blame for this but, I had to turn my speakers WAY up to hear. All in all this is better.

I don't know what this is but, I hear a distortion for Phoenix in JFA Reprise, it kinda sound like he's too loud, and he is very loud but I dunno...

Distortion is caused by the input being too loud i.e. it's distorting before it gets into the recording softwares =(

Ff3girl says: This is my favorite recording of I'll Be There. Your emotional Maya sends chills down my spine in the best way possible. You're such a perfect Maya. And your charming Maya is so so so loveable and cuddly.

Well, personally, this is my third hearing of IBT, and my favorite is the demo on the "Songs" page on the website. I mostly agree with SharpCookies on this one. Just sayin', it's good anyway :)

So it seems that I have a retake requested for It's Gotta Be the Butz... only I haven't received any notes on my original recording. What exactly should I be looking to improve?

Here you go:
When you say "This is a colossal waste of time," you don't sound like you mean it.

In the line This young man has nothing new to add, You sort of croak on "add".

When you say "I demand that the witness end this pointless charade! NOW!" the now dosen't sound very forcefull, the same goes for "GET HIM OUT OF HERE!"

When you say "That man needs a lobotomy," there's somthing here I don't like but I can't figure it out.

Hope that helps.

Sorry for the confusion, sir. The performance is fine. The only thing we need a retake on is the line "This witness is contributing nothing ... I suggest he be dismissed, and ideally drawn and quartered." The lines are spoken too slow. You can hear the problem if you listen to the latest Butz WIP in the recording progress update thread. You can retake JUST that line, everything else is great. Please use the WIP as the guide for how much time you have to speak the line ... by the time Phoenix says "HOLD IT" you should be done with the line. Thanks :)

Thanks for the attempt to help, BadAssassin, and no offense, but you're not a director :) Of course, arim can still take your advice and do retakes on those lines IF HE CHOOSES, but the only requirement Pleady and I have is the line above. Thanks again.

None taken, I'm just picky.

By the way, you still scare me
